Dr. Adi Genish
Dr. Adi has spent many years working with children in different capacities whether teaching dance classes, volunteering at schools, or tutoring, Dr. Adi has always enjoyed her time mentoring and working with children. For her, becoming a pediatric dentist was a perfect match.
Dr. Adi began her education at UCLA where she received her B.S. in Physiological Sciences graduating with honors from her department. After graduation, she also spent five years as a teaching associate for UCLA’s Life Science Department teaching seminars as well as molecular cell biology and physiology. Dr. Adi then attended the UCLA School of Dentistry to complete her DDS. During dental school her heart was set on treating children exclusively. She decided to complete an additional two year training program to specialize in pediatric dentistry at Loma Linda University.
Once there, she worked concurrently on completing her Masters of Science in Pediatric Dentistry. Her research focus was on the treatment of infants with cleft lip and palate.
Dr. Adi is a the past president and on the Executive Counsel for Southern California Society of Dentistry for Children. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, San Fernando Valley Dental Society, and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity
In her free time, Dr. Adi enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, son, and their dog, a Shiba Inu, Lucah. Dr. Adi believes in treating every child as she would want others to treat her own. Her goal is to have every experience be a positive, enlightening one. She is grateful to be given the opportunity to play a small part but important part in each child’s life.
